Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  Are you flexible with your prices?

A:  We will do our best to work within your budget - let us know what you need and we can create custom packages to give you what you need at an affordable price.

Q:  Do I have to book a package?

A:  We can certainly customize packages to fit your needs, but there is a heavy discount applied to the packages.  This is because we strongly believe in spending time with you two prior to the big day.  Our goal is genuine photos that showcases your personalities and love for each other and that can be easily shown when you feel comfortable with your photographer(s). We want to get to know you and build a relationship so we can capture who you really are and what makes you as a couple special and unique :) 

Q:  Do you offer specials or discounts?

A:  We may occasionally have specials - feel free to ask!  Otherwise, there is always the referral discount: $50 to you and $50 off to your referral when they book any package under $2,000 and $75 to you and $75 off to your referral when they book any package greater than $2000! 

Q:  Do you travel?  Is there a fee?

A:  There is a small travel fee for anything outside a 35 mile radius of New Braunfels, TX.  We also consider destination weddings.  Feel free to ask for more information!

Q:  My photographer cancelled and my wedding is quickly approaching!  How much advance notice do you need to book a wedding?

A:  It all depends on availability.  We would love to help you out, or help find someone who can, so contact us as soon as you are able.  There is no charge for last minute bookings.  

Q:  How many hours do you suggest we set aside for wedding pictures?

A:  This depends on what you're looking for. We can break this time up into three sections: bride & groom, family formals, and bridal party. On average, we suggest 1.5 to 2 hours if you're looking for all of these combinations, however, we review this information when we sit down with your and your future spouse.  We can determine how much time you have and how to fit in exactly what you need.

Q:  What is the difference between a mini and a full session?

A:  A mini session is usually half the time as a full and provides you with anywhere from 4 - 10 photos.  A mini bridal is 45 minutes and provides around 8 photos whereas a full bridal is an hour-and-a-half and leaves you with around 20 photos.  A mini engagement session is about an hour with 8 to 10 photos, while a full engagement session is about two to two-and-a-half hours with anywhere from 15 - 20 photos.  This photo count is an estimate so know that we will not limit the photos to that number - it just means this is the minimum we guarantee.  If we end up with 30 edited shots from a mini session, you will receive all 30 images.  Also, if we take the allotted amount of time and we feel we have less than the minimum photos, we can extend or even reschedule the session at no charge to you!  Sometimes it take a while for people to relax and get comfortable in front of the camera and that's ok!

Q I have lived on Pinterest since the engagement and have several specific shots I would want taken.  Is this do-able?

A:  Absolutely!  During the contract signing process, your photographer will sit down with you and your betrothed and discuss in detail the schedule of the wedding and all the shots you really want taken.  During this time, we review several more in-depth questions and really get to know your vision for your wedding.  From that, we figure out how we are going to deliver your dream photos!  This is your wedding after all, and we want to capture it in the way you want to remember it!

Q. Is there extra costs we should be aware of?  What about cost of prints?

A. We pride ourselves on upfront, honest communication so we include all costs within the package, except a possible travel fee.  The package costs covers an on-line gallery of all professionally edited photos and download code that has no download limit.  If you need any prints, we can work with a professional printer for you but any prints would be purchased through the printer.  This saves you money as we are not adding in our cost and lets you choose exactly what you want to print rather than having to spend a certain dollar amount on prints or select a print package.
