Foster & Adoptions

Foster & Adoptions

Last week I had the privilege of working with Kriser's Natural Pet in San Antonio to provide pet portraits for some dogs in need of loving homes!  It was an honor to be able to help them in this way but also an honor to meet the people who are saving these dogs every day.

This is Vivi - She had been tied to a fence, and her newly born puppies were placed in a garbage bag and thrown in a dumpster to die.  Luckily someone heard their cries and got help.  She has scar marks all over her body - most likely due to defending herself against other dogs or people as she was tied to that fence.  She is the SWEETEST dog ever and seems to be so thankful to be alive.  All she does is lay on top of you and give kisses!  I couldn't even get a photo of just her because she wanted to be near her human at all times!

Each different dog that came in had their own terrible tale of abuse and abandonment.  It broke my heart to see some of the sweetest creatures bearing deep scares caused by evil people.  It always amazes me how people can look at such a loving animal and unleash their hatred upon it.  I think it amazes me even more that a God who created those animals still decided the humans who harm them are worth saving.

Thank God for those people who saw these pups on the side of the road, tied to fences, or in one case inside a garbage bag placed in a dumpster, and fought long and hard to bring them back to health.  Each of these dogs is available for adoption through God's Dogs Rescue or San Antonio Guardian Angels and I can personally say, there isnt a bad one in the bunch.  They were all exceptionally sweet animals who just wanted a lap to sit on and a face to lick!
